Message from Our PPC

The May Elections went well; here in Waveney we recieved 41% of the votes against Labour's 30%, whilst Boris Johnson secured a resounding victory in the election for London's Mayor and in Crewe and Nantwich there was a swing of just under 18% to the Conservatives. The latter in particular has sent a shiver through Labour ranks.

However now is not the time for resting on our laurels and both locally and nationally we shall be driving forward to be successful at the next General Election, whenever it may come, to return a Conservative MP and put David Cameron in Downing Street. This means that we shall be back on the doorstep shortly, delivering newsletters, listening to people and telling them how a Conservative Government can address their concerns, Building on those policies that we have already announced. there is a need for change and a new Conservative Government to give the country new direction and to tackle the many problems that we face. Anything that you can do to help bring this about, on top of the work that so many are doing, is greatly appreciated, whether it is canvassing, leafleting or filling envalopes. Please let the office know if you are able to do more.
